1830 Warehouse – A Clear Review
Back in December, we produced an event for 200 delegates at one of Manchester’s most stunning new venues… the 1830 Warehouse at The Science and Industry Museum.
Having held events in the main museum event space in the past we knew what to expect from the operations and events team – excellent service and first-class food – but we did not know how this new space would work.
Set over 4 floors our delegates were on the move all day – and my FitBit certainly clocked up a good step count over the 2 days we were there – but wow, what a space it was! Unique, quirky, interesting and so very Manchester!
Using lighting we were able to make each space look and feel completely different. With 5 breakout areas and a main session this was really important to keep delegates feeling engaged and enthused all day.
The catering area was set up in an Altrincham Market style which worked brilliantly and really complimented the room. I love a bit of festoon lighting and this really looked great on the day.
The food was simply amazing. Great choice, great quality and a completely bespoke menu to suit our clients needs. We were thrilled with it.
The delegate feedback was excellent – we could not have been happier with how it all worked.
It is definitely an event space we can recommend, and I would urge anyone in Manchester looking for a different space to take a look – it will blow you away. And of course, goes without saying, if you are looking an agency to help you pull it all together and make best use of the space then you have to Think Clear!
